Mark James Arnold

CITY OF TONAWANDA — Mark James Arnold, age 52, of the City of Tonawanda, and formerly of Atlanta, GA, died on Thursday, November 22, 2012, after a lengthy illness. Born in the Town of Tonawanda, NY, he was the son of James E. Arnold, who died in May of 2011. Mark was a Master Painter and Carpenter, working in the trades since high school. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting, but loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was also a member of the Aerie No. 1411 F.O.E. in North Tonawanda.  

He is survived by three children, Andrea (Jerome) Johnson of Sacramento, CA; Ryan Arnold of the City of Tonawanda; and Courtney Arnold of TX;  his mother, Jean R. (Whipple) Arnold of the City of Tonawanda; his loving companion, Fabiola Sayles; two sisters, Deborah (Larry) Allen of the City of Tonawanda; and Lynda Marie (James) Corrao of Grand Island; three nieces, Amie (Nathan), Hannah and Aurora; and three nephews, Shawn, Jay and Quinn. Mark is also survived by three grandsons; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  

Friends may call on Sunday from 2-4 PM only at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts.), City of Tonawanda, where a funeral service will be held on Monday, November 26, at 10 AM. Friends invited. Pastor Tony Renda will officiate. Burial will be private. Memorials may be made to the Jim Harszkak Foundation, 2452 Colvin Blvd., Tonawanda, NY  14150.
