Donald C. Kopf

TOWN OF PORTER —

Donald C. Kopf, age 66, of the Town of Porter, formerly of North Tonawanda, March 1, 2013 in Niagara Hospice House after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving with the 107th Air Force in Korea. He retired from Automatic Data Processing after 31 years of service. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the American Legion. He was very active in youth hockey, including North Tonawanda Youth Hockey and coaching the Wheatfield Blades. Donald enjoyed collecting antiques. He was the son of the late Charles and Lorraine Kopf.
Beloved husband of Paula (nee Sattelberg) Kopf; father of Aric (Katie) Kopf of Lewiston; and grandfather of Charles Edward Kopf. Brother of Kathleen (Terry) O'Neil of North Tonawanda and Carol (William) Smith of Amherst; uncle of many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Son-in-law of Helen Sattelberg.
Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Wednesday, from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 AM from St. Paul Lutheran Church, 453 Old Falls Blvd., North Tonawanda, the Rev. Karl Haeusseler and the Rev. Ernest Green will officiate. If so desired memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice House, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094.
