Beloved husband of Amy (Roska) Darling; father of Daniel Jr. (Jackie Reilly), Matthew (Tracy Fink) and Luke Darling; son of Edward (Pat) Darling and Ardith (late Donald) Bulmahn; brother of Edward (Rita), James (Lorrie), Elizabeth Palfi (Mark) Ribic, Diane (Bill) Roesch and the late Joey Darling; brother-in-law of the late David Palfi; loving papa of Ryan, Chloe and Jason; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family will be present on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the HILLIARD CREASEY FUNERAL HOME, 147 Delaware St., Tonawanda, where funeral services will follow at 8 PM. Friends invited.
Dan served as a Staff Sergeant in the US Army, lifetime member of the VFW Post 7545, DAV of Tonawanda, NY. He retired from the USPS and he was a Special Olympics coach in Lancaster. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Special Olympics of New York.
