Stephen A. Kwarciany

NORTH TONAWANDA — Stephen A. Kwarciany, of North Tonawanda, entered into eternal life Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at the age of 96. A lifelong resident of North Tonawanda, Mr. Kwarciany was a retired  employee of Houdaille Industries of Akron, NY, and a former employee of R.T. Jones Lumber Co. A U.S. Army veteran of WW II, he was a 70-year life member of the American Legion Tonawanda's Post 264 and a member of O.L.C. Holy Name Society. Mr. Kwarciany was a very active volunteer at O.L.C. working around the church and enjoyed walking and riding his bicycle.

Beloved husband of 72 years to Victoria J. (nee Adowski) Kwarciany. Brother of the late Stanley Kwarciany, Edward Kwarciany, Chester Kwarciany and Helen Kwarciany. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will be present to greet relatives and friends THURSDAY, March 7 from 7-9 PM and FRIDAY, March 8 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the SABER FUNERAL HOME, 549 Oliver St., North Tonawanda (692-0271), where prayers will be offered on Saturday at 9:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church at 9:30 AM. Entombment, Epiphany Chapel Mausoleum, Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Flowers graciously declined. Memorial gifts may be made in Stephen's honor to O.L.C. Renovation Fund.

Tonawanda Post 264 will have services on THURSDAY at 8:30 PM.

O.L.C. Society will have a prayer service on FRIDAY at 7:30 PM.
