North Tonawanda — This is in response to the person who says there was a Jeffrey’s in the City of Tonawanda. The word is Zeffrey’s. It was an old-fashioned ice cream parlor. It was beautiful.

I was in McDonald’s on Meadow Drive on Feb. 28. While I was buying food, my 9-year-old grandson went to the bathroom and left his newly bought Sabres gloves in there. I think the North Tonawanda school district should look into requiring school uniforms. I think if the school board members walked around the high school and saw how some of these students dress they’d be appalled, to say the least. No school dress code is being enforced. They should consider the pros and cons of bringing back school uniforms.
