— — Way to go, NT school board. At your last meeting, you granted tenure to a principal who thrives on the betterment of education for his students. He has parents working in classrooms with teachers and children. This is what we call progress! He is a doctor of education and dedicated to kids. He has no hidden agenda except to help the children excel and we are glad any complaints fell on deaf ears, because “We are Friendly, Strong and Smart.”

We should use the blue bins for garbage and the big cans for recycling. People aren’t even putting a 10th of what they could in the recycle bins.

I see the City of Tonawanda knew for quite a few years that the captain of the police department was being investigated. If this were so, why didn’t they take some action when they first found out? Maybe they wanted him to get more years in so his pension would grow. He has 32 years in now. That’s the problem with the city ... too many family members working here.

Litz’s wife is on sick leave. Isn’t that cute. Full pay. He belongs in jail. Don’t give me this baloney that he applied for his retirement a long time ago. He should get no retirement and they both should be fired. What a crooked city.

Why don’t the businesses who were profiting from the concerts put the concerts on themselves? They should either put up the money or shut up. This is a taxpayer expense that we cannot afford. You want the business and bring in the 100,000 you say will come in and the profit you will make? Do them yourself.

Is this cop allowed to collect a pension after he’s being indicted for a crime? I didn’t know criminals could collect money like that.
