To DeWayne Wickham who doesn’t know the difference between Iran and Iraq: You can thank your liberal education.

I believe that it is the greedy Republicans who don’t want health care reform because they get the most campaign money from big insurance companies. So I don’t listen to lying Republicans like that Sound-Off caller. They just want to stop Obama from helping this country.

They’re making all these health care providers get flu shots. Simon says get the flu shots. Simon says put your hands on your heads.

I hope a certain man got thrown out of NT. Or better yet, thrown in jail. I could not believe the Riviera let this show happen! Why did no one close the curtains on the show Saturday night? That was NOT “entertainment.”

For the second time, the political sign on my front lawn has been vandalized. This had to have been done by opponent supporters. I chose to support my candidate because of his hard work to get the grants to tear down Spaulding, his diligent work to keep our taxes down as low as possible and because he works at being the mayor full time. He loves this city and is an upstanding moral citizen. The vandals can not force me to support a “part time” mayor. This is a full-time job. I am entitled to my opinion and you are entitled to yours. Examine the issues and the man before our city is abandoned and taxes become an all-time high. By the way, please stay off my property!

I think the North Tonawanda school district should look into requiring school uniforms. I think if the school board members walked around the high school and saw how some of these students dress they’d be appalled, to say the least. No school dress code is being enforced. They should consider the pros and cons of bringing back school uniforms.

LEFFLER: Don’t wait to be productive

Bob Confer, looks like you did get a little help, regarding your unexpected sights in Niagara. Personally I don’t feel imperiled by bobcats, bears and other wild animals. But I am afraid of you and opinions.

DUVALL: Immigration, not economy, could tip 2012 election
In a handful of swing states that will decide the election, immigration will play a large — perhaps even determining — role in whether Barack Obama gets another four years.
