If the taxpayers of North Tonawanda actually "won" this wetlands lawsuit, after spending years and millions to do so, it could impact every wetland in the state. The politicians in North Tonawanda are quite charitable paying all the legal fees for your developers. However, other communities treasure our wetlands and we are appalled that your community would care so little about the environment. Get a grip on your irresponsible elected officials! I live in Ulster County and maybe your greedy uniformed developers would like to talk to some of the poor people who live in New Paltz who have to run for their lives in the flooded rainy season, victims of “get what you can developers" who built in federal and state wetlands.
