NT has a beautiful Memorial Park on Payne Avenue. Why doesn't the city pave a section of the park for young skateboard enthusiasts? Parks are for all the people to use and enjoy. Let's have a section of the park for teens, too. I am sure that the city has insurance already for users of Memorial Pool.

These city politicians could care less about the average kid and devote time and money to only the road systems (which do need to be replaced in some areas) and sports programs. They do not listen to what the skateboarding group has to say, obviously, seeing as how they think insurance is a huge problem with the skate park case. Why don’t they let the kids hold a fundraiser for the money? I’m sure they are more then capable of doing so.

Why don't we have a Walmart yet? Ask the North Tonawanda GOP.

I wish I'd have seen the T-NT 100 publication before I bought it. I thought it would make a nice gift for my husband who played for the Warriors. The cover indicated the NT bias. I'm sure there must have been a few headlines indicating the Warriors won somewhere! We all know NT leads the series and is a much more successful program, but that isn't what this was to be about. There are probably twice as many pictures of NT, and wouldn't it just figure that the picture of my husband's team celebrating their victory in '69 is mislabeled as the '70 Jacks? He was disappointed to say the least.

I think the North Tonawanda school district should look into requiring school uniforms. I think if the school board members walked around the high school and saw how some of these students dress they’d be appalled, to say the least. No school dress code is being enforced. They should consider the pros and cons of bringing back school uniforms.

Bob Confer, looks like you did get a little help, regarding your unexpected sights in Niagara. Personally I don’t feel imperiled by bobcats, bears and other wild animals. But I am afraid of you and opinions.
