n Trapping season for raccoon, fox, skunk, opossum, coyote and weasel opens for Western New York.

n Furbearer hunting season opens for raccoon, fox, opossum, and weasel.

n Niagara County Federation of Conservation Clubs will hold their monthly meeting at the 4-H Bldg., Cornell Cooperative Extension Niagara, 4487 Lake Ave. (Route 78), Lockport, starting at 7 p.m.

Tuesday

n Niagara County Fisheries Advisory Board meeting at the Snyder Room of the Town of Lockport offices located on Beattie Road, Lockport starting at 7 p.m.

n Great Lakes Small Harbor Coalition workshop from 1-4 p.m. at Tillman’s Village Inn, Route 104 and Route 98, Albion in Orleans County. There is no cost to attend the workshop but pre-registration is requested. Register by calling 315-312-3042 or e-mail sgoswego@cornell.edu.

n Niagara Frontier Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation will hold their monthly meeting at the Twin Village Post 463, Litchfield Ave., Lancaster, starting at 7:30 p.m.
