Tonawanda News — Town of Tonawanda

DWI: Gerson Montalco-Meland was arrested Saturday for aggravated DWI and speeding. He was driving near the intersection of Niagara Falls Boulevard and Chalmers Avenue and his blood alcohol level was 0.19 percent. 

City of Tonawanda

DRUGS: Mark A. Dranger, 23, of Evergreen Drive, was arrested Sunday for unlawful possession of marijuana, improper turn and failure to obey a traffic control device. He was driving near the intersection of Grove and Fletcher streets. Dranger was issued an appearance ticket. 

DWI: Juan A. Acevedo, 32, of Erman Avenue, Buffalo was arrested Sunday DWI, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, driving left of pavement marking, no driver’s license and texting while driving. Acevedo was driving on Main Street, veered over the center lines and clipped a Liberty taxi cab. Both vehicles ended up on the lawn in front of the library. His blood alcohol level was 0.16 percent and he was held for court. 

WARRANT: Sara J. Sputzman, 21, Argonne Drive, Kenmore surrendered Monday on a warrant for criminal impersonation. She was held for court. 

North Tonawanda 

HARASSMENT: Scott M. Campbell, 33, 23 First Ave., was charged at 11:35 p.m. Sunday with second-degree harassment. He was held for court. 

IMPAIRED: Ashley S. Leithner, 19, 209 Fredericka St., was charged at 11:46 p.m. Saturday with driving while ability impaired by drugs. She was released on $250 bail.  

DWI: Rodney W. Craft, 46, 21 Maple Terrace, was charged at 2:05 a.m. Monday with DWI, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to stop at a stop sign. Craft refused a blood alcohol test and was held for court.
