BLOTTER: Police reports published March 13

City of Tonawanda

ADWI: Alfred B. Frenning, 49, 77 Bentham Park, Buffalo, was charged at 10:45 a.m. Friday with aggravated DWI, speeding and driving with an open container. Frenning was stopped for speeding when the officer detected the odor of alcohol, according to reports. Frenning allegedly failed field sobriety tests and a chemical breath test revealed a 0.20 percent blood alcohol content, more than twice the legal limit. Officers searching the vehicle found a glass of whiskey hidden in the center console. Frenning was held for court.

WARRANT: Simeon J. Taylor, 21, 2277 Elmwood Ave., Buffalo, was arrested at 1:30 p.m. Friday on a warrant for driving with suspended registration. He was held for court.

North Tonawanda

MISCHIEF: Nicholas J. Newman, 25, 271 Warner Ave., was charged at 3:26 a.m. Friday with two counts of criminal mischief. Newman was held for court.

HARASSMENT: David A. Mikos, 21, no permanent address, was charged at 1:53 a.m. Friday with aggravated harassment. Mikos was held for court.

WARRANT: Steven M. Himmelback, 18, 6290 Ward Road, was arrested at 3 a.m. Friday on warrants for criminal mischief and harassment. He is being held in lieu of $600 bail.

Clarence

DWI: Gregory J. Dirschedl, 19, of Sanborn, was charged late Thursday with DWI, driving with an open container and inadequate headlights following a traffic stop by state troopers on Main Street in Clarence. His blood-alcohol content was measured at 0.13 percent following a breath test. He was released on an appearance ticket.
