Tonawanda News — I might vote Republican if they admitted they’re the ones who put us in debt. Everybody with one brain cell knows they’re the ones who put us in debt. Democrats are doing everything they can to get us out of debt. But Republicans are the ones who got us in debt.

Are you voting for Mitt Romney? I just have one question: why? They will not tell you what deductions they are going to get rid of in order to give a $5 trillion tax cut to the wealthiest people in our country. They keep saying they will tell us after the elections. Are you comfortable with that? In order for him to make those cuts he would have to eliminate deductions for the middle class. What are those you ask? How about your mortgage interest deduction? How about the earned income credit? How about deductions for your child’s education? Those will have to be cut in order to provide huge tax cuts for the people who didn’t lose anything in the economy.

A recent headline read “Clinton Takes Responsibility For Attack That Killed US Ambassador In Libya.” Sounds like Obama is passing the buck again. He forgets the sign that former president Truman had on his desk that read, “The Buck Stops Here.” It didn’t say, the buck stops there! We really need some leadership in the White House.
