I’m a City of Tonawanda resident for most of my life and I see the recycling guys don’t want to put themselves out to do their jobs and we paid for their services. So please help, somebody get on their butt and get their job done the way they should.

This is to the North Tonawanda Police: Start handing out tickets to all the people walking in the road. The sidewalks are perfectly clear. We could close our budget gap if you would do that.

They keep talking about the missing teen jogger in California who was found murdered. And they got the guy. We have so many perverts, sex offenders and rapists out there in this country it’s ridiculous. What do they do in the Middle East to these kind of people? I think they chop their hands off, castrate them or just behead. I think the United States is too easy on these people. We put them on probation. Give them a little jail time and slap them on the hand. I think the laws in this country need to be changed.

Hillary is just like Obama. They all give good speeches but, this is for Hillary. We’re still waiting in New York State for the 200,000 jobs you promised when you ran here in New York state. But now that you’re gone, I guess that promise is just like the rest of the politicians out there. You’re all talk, no action. You just want to get elected, so you can get that nice pension.

I graduated from North Tonawanda High School in 1974 and I want to say as a kid growing up I had the two best gym teachers any kid could ever ask for in Ted Moore and Nick Sebek.
•••
I’m calling about Andrea McNulty getting appointed to a county position. This woman decieved the taxpayers of North Tonawanda by living out of district and collecting a paycheck and representing people in a district where she doesn’t even live. And now she is getting rewarded with a county job. Pay and benefits totaling $50,000 is absolutely ridiculous. Politics at its finest. And I myself will never vote for a Republican again.

President Obama was quoted that his health bill would be partially funded by cuts in Medicare. As a senior citizen on Medicare, what cuts will I see in my benefit?

When a skyscraper writes checks to meet a payroll, then maybe I'll agree with the editor that corporations aren't people. But I'm not holding my breath. If the New York Times corporation has free speech rights, than so does Halliburton corporation. It's elementary. If individuals have free speech rights, so do groups of individuals. Liberalism 101, states: The people are too stupid to watch political commercials and decide for themselves, so let's have fewer of them, and let the "un-biased" media tell them the truth. As the non-reporting of the Speaker of the House saying, "We have to pass the health care bill to find out what’s in it" and the Louise Slaughter-ing of House rules shows, NBC, CBS, ABC and the New York Times cannot be trusted to tell the truth. What they report is not even close to being the news.

As always, a student gets beat up near a middle school and it's the teacher’s fault. How about we lay some of the responsibility on the parents!

Bin Laden is dead. GM is alive. Those don’t sound like failures to me.

If you keep taking signals down on Nash Road, it will become a regular speedway. Don’t forget: It’s still a city street, with side streets driveways and businesses.

I think the North Tonawanda school district should look into requiring school uniforms. I think if the school board members walked around the high school and saw how some of these students dress they’d be appalled, to say the least. No school dress code is being enforced. They should consider the pros and cons of bringing back school uniforms.

I’m very grateful I can’t watch the Butterknives on TV anymore. I mean the Sabres, heh-heh.

Bob Confer, looks like you did get a little help, regarding your unexpected sights in Niagara. Personally I don’t feel imperiled by bobcats, bears and other wild animals. But I am afraid of you and opinions.

There is no way the United States can afford a care package like Obamacare. This man has been a failure in everything he has done.

NT taxpayers beware: The district is facing a $1.5 million shortfall this year. Yet the district continues to have tech and music teachers with only 4 students per class while the academic classes continue to have 30 to 32 students per class. Where are the district’s priorities? Why are we teaching private vocal lessons to only a few?

Given all the “findings” reported at the Niagara County SPCA, it’s hard to understand why a third party has not been appointed to audit and review the status of the Erie County SPCA. According to several reports, both agencies work closely together on a regular basis. I think it is time the Erie County SPCA's practices and procedures be investigated as well. Based on encounters family members and I have had with the Erie County SPCA, I certainly hope they treat their animals better than they treat the people who come through their doors.

Boy, that's too bad about what happened to Vito's sign. I hope they throw the book at that guy! Just like that other restaurant in Budwey Plaza. The scene they made in front of everyone. They did nothing but embarrass themselves. If you don't know how to run your business properly, don't go blaming everyone else!
