Tonawanda News — Increasing the minimum wage is not going to hurt small business. Funny it hasn’t hurt small businesses in other states, but it will only happen in New York, right? If you have a good business going you won’t go out of business by increasing minimum wage for your workers. You try and live on that! You know you’re not gonna close your business down because you are paying a few more dollars. That’s insane to even think of that. Who is that crazy person that said that? You’re just copying what the other businesses say!

I would like to have the postal increase for first class mail to 50 cents, and then continue with our every day delivery as usual.

How about next year having the Pizza Fest at the Castle in the City of Tonawanda. That could certainly accomodate a large amount of people, and you’d be keeping it within the Tonawandas.

Remember, there are only two types of police officers, those with egos and those without.

In yesterday’s mail I received five pieces of junk mail. Today, I received four more. None made it in the house because I dropped them in the recycling tote. If whoever sends all that junk mail has to pay as much postage as I do, the post office could deliver mail on Sunday too.

I see in North Tonawanda another example, that this guy was cleaning his gun and it accidentally went off and into his neighbor’s house. The time has come. The police should go to New York state to get warrants and search houses and confiscate all the guns. Too many accidents happening. Get rid of these guns out of these people’s houses, whether they are registered or not.

I was reading in the Tonawanda News about how Mayor Pilozzi wants to close off a portion of Young Street and let a business use it for parking. I never heard of that in my entire life. They should have never let that business move there if there was no parking. That is so stupid! Only Pilozzi would do something like that. That street is for the people not for a business. Is that business gonna pay $100,000 a year for that? I think they should have to pay at least that.

Since Mr. Obama has been in office we have lost 8.5 million jobs. These are jobs that are lost, and with no more taxes coming. How are we supposed to get the taxes for what this man is putting ahead to the American people? He can never tax enough to have all this paid for. No way!

•••

Along with all these big tax hikes and this speech tonight, we’re in big, big, big trouble folks. All this man wants to do is spend, spend, spend! The Democrats are finally finding out what kind of man they put in office. It’s about time they opened their eyes. He destroyed the United States.
