Tonawanda News — On Oct. 1, the THS girls soccer teams, JV and Varsity, held a brief ceremony between the two games honoring women/men who have and/or had breast cancer. Fourteen women were recognized. It was a very touching event and a thank you to the organizers for planning the ceremony and the young ladies on both teams, for making it such a special evening. And as a side note, our THS girls, JV and Varsity! won their games. These young women are amazing. Go Warriors.

So you want to vote for Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. Do you know what will happen? Romney and Ryan refuse to give specifics on what they will cut in their budget. The only thing they have told us is that they will give even bigger tax cuts to the wealthiest people In the country. If that happens it will add FIVE TRILLION, YES TRILLION, to the debt and deficit. They say that they will be paid for by eliminating tax deductions. They won’t tell you what deductions will be. Why won’t they tell us? Simple, they want to cut deductions that middle class families receive, home mortgage deduction, child care credit, earned income credit and more. If you believe that the wealthy should get a huge tax cut that is paid for by the middle class and the poor, you should vote for Romney. If you think that the middle class and the poor shouldn’t pay for tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires, vote for President Obama.
