Tonawanda News — Well now that the election is over I’m sure in the next few days Mr. Romney will tell us all where the 12 million jobs are if he was elected president.

•••

I see everyone voted the same old people into our local political offices. What a shame that you can’t think for yourselves and you do it again. And did you really think Mitt Romney was going to find all those jobs? He sent jobs out of the country. Or don’t you listen to the news?

•••

I see in the paper the Tonawanda Council and the mayor are going to give the property away on Little League Drive for $192,000. I think the people of the City of Tonawanda should all give up their jobs and go on welfare and let the council and mayor pay our rent and bills. After all, we only have 13,000 people and the mayor hired another assistant. Nobody in this city needs an assistant.

Why does the City of Tonawanda mayor always want overtime for the cops, even though there are plenty of cops? I would think they don’t need overtime for every little thing they do. If there are too many cops give them a day off and have them work events on the weekends. All they do is pull people over and harass kids.

I, too, hope they replace Jodi Johnston on Channel 2 news with Melissa Holmes. She’s the prettiest, best dressed and most professional woman I’ve seen on TV. I also can’t believe Channel 4 didn’t keep her. I’m looking forward to seeing her in the 5 to 7 a.m. time slot.

The NT police officer who wrote the parking tickets upheld the law. I was told by the NT police they don’t make the law, they uphold them. What a moron. Good-bye.
