The Tonawanda girls bowling team capped off an outstanding regular season Tuesday with a 7-0 win over Depew at Tonawanda Bowling Center.
The Warriors finish 10-0 in ECIC Division III play, extending their league unbeaten streak to 39 matches. Earlier in the week, THS clinched its fourth consecutive ECIC III title.
Dawn Carter led Tonawanda with a 232-631, while Erin McDonald (216-627), Cassie Marcaccio (221-595) and Sam Marcaccio (213-575) also contributed to the win. Tonawanda won the pin count 4,367-3,833.
Depew dropped to 7-3.
BOYS BOWLING
Tonawanda 5, Depew 2
Josh Barber bowled a 257 game in a 662 set to lead the Warriors (8-2) to the ECIC Division III win. Henry Wesoloski rolled a 224-605, while Joe Zack added a 223-602 for THS, which also took the pin count 4,658-4,326.
Eric Alajacko led the Wildcats (7-3) with a 267-691.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Nichols 64, Cardinal O’Hara 44
Sloane Walton led the way for Nichols with 22 points in the Monsignor Martin win. Meaghan Heldwein and Kylie Reinholz both chipped in eight points.
Kelly Walsh had 12 points and Leah McDonell added 10 for the Hawks, who were outscored 29-13 in the opening quarter.

Tonawanda welcomes four more on cherished Wall of Fame
Chris “Mr. Tonawanda” Slauson (Class of 1998), Tom Perkovich (’99), John White (’75) and Jim Keller (’54) were enshrined as part of the 2012 Tonawanda High School Athletic Wall of Fame class prior to Tonawanda’s 69-45 win over Eden Thursday night inside the George Miller Gymnasium.
