The Purple Eagles still couldn’t manage that elusive first victory as Trevor Lewis scored with just four minutes remaining, getting the host Colonials a tie in College Hockey America action.
“We played a great road game,” Niagara coach Dave Burkholder said. “We were looking for that fourth goal to win the game, but instead only have a point to show for it.”
Brendan Sheehan, Egor Mironov and Paul Zanette all scored for Niagara (0-8-1 overall, 0-1-1 CHA) while Adam Avramenko made 31 saves.
