TOWN OF TONAWANDA — A water main break has closed part of Sheridan Drive from Delaware Avenue to Colvin Boulevard. According to the Town of Tonawanda Highway Department, it is expected to remain closed for the rest of the day and possibly until early evening.
The break occurred this morning at around 6:30 a.m., and the cause of the break is unknown.
"It could be a number of different things," a Highway Department representative said. "It is probably a combination of a lot of factors."
Before dawn Tuesday morning at North Tonawanda City Hall, things were already bustling.
