Dunkin' opens in Colvin-Eggert plaza

TOWN OF TONAWANDA — Dunkin’ Donuts unveiled a new store in the Town of Tonawanda Thursday morning in the Colvin-Eggert Plaza. The new restaurant marks the first of eight new stores that will open in the area before the end of next year under the ownership of Timothy E. Cloe.

“We are excited to expand the Dunkin’ Donuts footprint in Western New York. Over the past year, our team has become an integral part of the Buffalo community,” Cloe said.

Cloe entered the Buffalo market in March 2011 with the purchase of 11 stores. Since then, Cloe has acquired 10 more stores. New Dunkin’ Donuts are expected to open in Lockport, and Erie, Niagara and Chautauqua Counties.

The expansion plan is expected to create 200 new jobs in total and is part of a greater expansion effort throughout the U.S.

“We are proud to bring the fast, friendly service and high-quality beverage and food options that are the hallmark of Dunkin’ Donuts to even more residents throughout Western New York with the new restaurant openings,” Cloe said.

The new Tonawanda restaurant is approximately 1,600 square feet, seats 24 guests and employs 25 workers.
